Halloween Week - Day 7, The Joker

Hey hey lovely people! After yesterdays scary relief, we're now back to good old fashioned Halloween, and what a better look to do than The Joker?

Now, aside from having to create the scars, this look is a really simple one to create!

Okay, before I get judged, I edited my hair green, mainly because I had an early start that morning, and chalking my hair was just out of the question, though I think chalked hair would go fab with this look.

Now, the cuts were made using layers of liquid latex and tissue. Don't forget to let each layer dry. My lips are just not made for this look, but if you have wider lips, instead of my short and fat ones, then this look should look fabulous on you!

After all the layers were dried, I applied the white face paint and then a few coats of fake blood onto them and my real lips. Don't be afraid to get it messy, after all, that's the beauty of this look. Aim to look messy!

The eyes were simply from blending out a black eyeshadow, though I'd recommend you get your eyes a lot darker than mine.

After everything was done, I used my hands to mess up my makeup even more, just like the real Joker's.

And that's all you need to do. Simple, right?!

Can you believe there's only one look left now?! This week surely went fast. I think I might continue and do a few more looks every so often.

As always, thank you so much for reading & I hope you have a lovely day.

Lots of Love

Halloween Week - Day 6, Fairy/Forest Nymph

Hey hey lovely people! We're now six days into my week of Halloween makeup looks. After yesterdays scary look, we're gonna go for something much sweeter today. May I present to you, my fairy look.

Okay, so it's more of a Forest Nymph, but that's the fab thing about this look: You can play around a

Halloween Week - Day 5, Skeleton

Hey hey lovely people! Welcome to day 5 of my Halloween week of makeup looks!

Now, today's post is probably my most favourite to do so far, but also the messiest. Let me present to you, my Skeleton look!

As you can see, I kinda went for a Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way' style look. The fab thing about this look is you don't need much, just a black face paint, white face paint, talc, black eyeshadow and two thin brushes.

Now, I kinda wish I took photos of the process of this look. All I can really say is to copy what I've done, but where the colours fade, that is from just the eyeshadow and not the paint.

Don't forget to check your white brush before swiping it, otherwise you'll kick yourself when you get a grey coverage, as you can see on my lips.

Well, that's today's look! What do you all think? Any of you planning to go as a skeleton this Halloween? Let me know in the comments below!

As always, thank you so much for reading this and I hope you have a lovely day!

Lots of Love

Halloween Week - Day 4, Black Swan

Hey hey lovely people! How are you all doing today? Can you believe that we're already over halfway through my week of Halloween makeup?

Today's look is something that I've always loved, but never really had the chance to do. Now, I'll start off by saying that I've never watched Black Swan, and I really don't know why, it looks fab! Even if you haven't watched it, I can guarantee that you've seen Natalie Portman's famous swan makeup. Well, that's what I've decided to recreate today.

Whoa, nice shirt Jade, 10 out of 10 Ballerina accuracy.

Okay, so it's a pretty simple look to accomplish. Firstly, paint your entire face white with whatever you want, though I would recommend using white face paint. What I've learnt from doing this is that

Halloween Week - Day 3, Cracked face

Hey hey lovely people! Now, I was toying about uploading todays look. Straight up, I know that this is very poor. I nearly posted my look from last Halloween but I decided to make this useful, incase any of you are already planning to do this, you know, a guide of what not to do!

So, here's my mediocre attempt at the cracked face, and how you can improve upon it.

Tip 1 - The size of your brush is super important. Believe me! For this look, I used an ELF Small

Halloween Week - Day 2, Pop Art

Hey hey lovely people! I'm back with day two of my Halloween week of looks, with Pop Art makeup.

This is probably the simplest look to create, seeing as you only really need a black eyeliner, a white eyeliner and a red lip liner.

So here's the finished look:

Okay, my first recommendation (especially if you have oily skin like me) is to apply a foundation or

Halloween Week - Day 1

Hey hey lovely faces!

Now, a few days ago, I was on another one of my random late night creative makeup sessions, when I had an epiphany! Why don't I create seven different makeup looks in the week running up to Halloween?

Well that's just what I'm gonna do! So here's Day Ones look: Maleficent

Now, before we start, let's clear up any confusion. I'm talking about Angelina Jolie Maleficent, not the Cartoon kind. Why? It's a lot easier to work with shading on your natural skin tone instead of
green, plus, I bet that a lot of you have easier access to a pale foundation than green face paint. However, if you still want to achieve the classic maleficent look, simply substitute the flesh coloured shades for those of green. Don't forget your darker green for contouring.

Okay, so here's the completed look.

So, as you can see, I've kinda combined both the past and present Maleficent, only because I really

LUSH Christmas and Halloween Haul

Hey hey lovely people. Now, as you will know by now, I have a major LUSH addiction. I was counting down the days until the LUSH Christmas and Halloween release date, determined to be there on release day. After discovering that my schedule was indeed free, me and my friend Dayna made the trip to the Cardiff LUSH store to embark on our shopping adventure. As it has been said, one cannot simply walk into Mordor LUSH...without filling up a whole basket...or two.

Yes, I did go all out. I picked up every Christmas and Halloween bubble bar, bath bomb and bath melt, along with three of the seasonal shower gels. So here's what I picked up:

Candy mountain bubble bar: This bubble bar smells sweet like candy, almost like Creamy Candy and Rockstar Soap! It's pink and white with iridescent glitter, and contains Vanilla absolute. 10 points if it

Save OR Splurge? - LUSH's Sex Bomb VS. Bomb Cosmetics' Natures Candy

Hey hey lovely people! Now, anybody who's seen Bomb Cosmetics Natures Candy bath bomb will know that it bears a striking resemblance to LUSH's Sex bomb. Well, of you didn't, I bet you do now. Sure, the colours and textures are slightly different, but they're practically the same product, right? Well, let's settle the argument here!

September Favourites

Hey hey lovely people! Can you believe that September is over already?! Well, I'm back with a new round of monthly favourites. Let's do this!

So first up, we have a haircare product from Aussie, and believe me, this is a big deal! I've been using L'oreal shampoos and conditioners religiously all of my life. I think I may have been converted *gasp*. My hair feels less weighed down, which is amazing considering how long it is. Now it's
